Strong Investment Strategy
Innovest Investments follows a responsible investment strategy of investing into fundamentally
strong companies with high growth potential. All investment decisions are taken:
• by the Investment Committee guided by Mr. Ajit Jayaratne, former Chairman of the CSE
• backed by comprehensive research carried out by a skilled and accomplished in-house research team
Bespoke Portfolios
We provide a personalized service and design portfolios in consultation with our clients according to
their risk profiles and belief systems. Thereafter, we actively manage the portfolios on behalf of our clients.
To maintain high quality standards, the CEO personally:
• conducts the initial presentation and clarifies all matters
• supervises initial portfolio construction and subsequent portfolio rebalancing decisions
Investing with Innovest
• Contract duration: varies from 6 months to 5 years depending on our clients’ needs
• Securities: both Equity and Fixed Income
• Minimum Investment: Rs. 10 million
Secure Investing
• Innovest is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Sri Lanka.
• Client’s investments will be held with the custodian bank in separate accounts in the name of the client.
• Sampath Bank PLC will be the custodian bank.
Performance-Based Commission
• Commission is based on the outperformance of the client portfolio relative to a benchmark such as the All Share Price Index or as a percentage of profit.
• We operate predominantly on a performance-based commission structure: thereby aligning our interests with that of our clients.
Risk Mitigation
• Innovest may attempt to insulate client portfolios from significant losses by shifting to Fixed Income Securities when prolonged adverse equity market conditions are anticipated.
Confidentiality
• We aim to maintain investor confidentiality and will act in the best interest of the client at all times
Respect
• All investors will be treated with equal respect irrespective of investment capacity
